Dirt Bars! Yum!

We have a banquet at our church and my mom had to bake some treats so she chose this recipe and a couple others, but these are sooooo good I have to tell you them!!!!!!!!! Here they are! They are called Dirt Bars!


What you need:

1 package of German sweet chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 sticks of butter
1 cup of chocolate chips
1 bag of caramels with 45-50 caramels in it
1 small can of evaporated milk (5 ounces)

Melt butter and mix with cake mix. Mix will be a little dry and pasty. Spread 1 half of the paste mix in 9x13 pan. (spray pan)

Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove from the oven and add chocolate chips.

Melt caramels and milk in microwave until melted. Pour over chips. Crumble the rest of the cake mix on top.

Bake t 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool completely then cut!
